箍牙分為兩大類﹕
傳統金屬牙箍和隱形牙箍。傳統金屬牙箍需要在牙面上放置牙齒矯正器，再連繫牙齒矯正金屬弓絲。這種牙箍會刮傷嘴唇和臉頰內側，造成不適，而且很難清潔口腔。
隱形牙箍護理比較簡單，可以輕鬆地脫下再戴上，也不會造成刮傷嘴唇和臉頰內側等問題。
The two main groups of orthodontics treatment include traditional fixed braces and clear aligner.
For traditional fixed braces, orthodontics brackets are placed on the surface of teeth and connected by stainless steel wire. These wire and brackets will traumatize lip and inner cheek, thus causing discomfort and difficulty in keeping good oral hygiene.
Clear aligner is relatively easy to wear and clean. Besides, clear aligners rarely cause trauma to oral tissues.
